I pumped it several times, and it seemed to build up pressure nicely. It is bent, missing a screw and her brother tried making his own gasket for it from a piece of plastic when he was a kid.Īs for function, I can pull the bolt all the way back, slide it forward and when I pull the trigger it makes a "Pop" noise every time. So internet research of the "Sheridan C Series" and the serial # 499150 leads me to believe it was made some time after 1985 but before 1992? It is the silver finish (Aluminum?) not blued.Īnyway there is a little plate that takes 2 screws on the left side of the receiver. I am mechanically inclined but pretty new to guns and never had BB or pellet guns as a kid. While I do not have any 5mm pellets to test in it I am pretty sure it needs repair. My girlfriend's brother just gave her his old Sheridan C Series pump air rifle. ![]()
